Hello ASAP Families!
Next week on Tuesday, February 13th, we are NOT having ASAP at our regular schedule. We will be at the Silverton United Methodist Church setting up for our Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser! We are asking kids to come and help serve and work at the event! They will be fed, and also will earn extra coins for our end of the year shop! If parents are able and willing to bring the kids to the methodist church at 203 W Main Street downtown in Silverton (Across from the town park) at 4:30 and pick them up at 7:30pm, we would love the help! Last year the kids that helped had a lot of fun and enjoyed themselves! Again, there is no ASAP on Tuesday at Immanuel, but if you can bring them to the United Methodist Church to help they will earn extra coins and get a chili dinner! Also, if you would like to help support ASAP you are welcome to come and have a chili dinner, taste and vote for your favorite chili from our 4 contestants - the Fire Department, the Police Department, the Community Transitions Program, and Sheltering Silverton! The winner gets a plaque and bragging rights for the year! Proceeds from the event go towards next year's budget! This is one of the ways we can offer this program to the community for free!
ASAP will resume as normal on Wednesday. We are having our Valentine's Day party on Wednesday!
We have hired an Outreach Coordinator that will be helping us with Social Media and Newsletters so look for a newsletter to come out Sometime in the next couple of weeks!
